Psalm 78
. . . we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done. .
so the next generation would know them . . . and they in turn would tell their children.
Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.

Car Talk

"I know! What if the Toy Story toys acted in Star Wars?"

"Woody would be Luke and Jesse would be Leia."
"Buzz would be Han Solo!"
"Mr. Potato Head would be R2D2."
"Bull's Eye would be the Millennium Falcon."
"No, no, no. RC would be the Millennium Falcon."
"Yeah! And Bull's Eye would be one of those sand creatures."
"What about Rex?"
A chorus of voices: "Chewie!!!"
"Zorg would be Darth Vader."

(Conversation overheard as I drove my Suburban around town yesterday, as I remember it anyway.)

Jeff took Anna and Abi to see Toy Story 3 last week. It was their first ever movie in a theatre. And a 3D one, no less. Unfortunately, Josh missed out as he had been too naughty to go. So he's seven and a half and still has never been to a movie in the theatres. Strange, huh?
