Psalm 78
. . . we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done. .
so the next generation would know them . . . and they in turn would tell their children.
Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.

Service Project

Our church has a wonderful summer program for pre-teens such as Hope and Sydney in which they gather once a week for Bible study, prayer, and games. The "Power Team" meeting is followed by another session in which some of the kids learn to do acts of service. When I pick them up from the "Servant Kidz" hour I find them sweeping or vacuuming or gathering trash at our church.

Last week the crew of 5th and 6th graders went to a sister church in an urban area and helped with some sorting and organizing. Hope helped sort out toys into "keep," "garage sale," and "broken" piles.

Sydney (on the left) helped organize a cabinet in the nursery.
