Psalm 78
. . . we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done. .
so the next generation would know them . . . and they in turn would tell their children.
Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.

A Word From Horace. . .

. . . Horace Vandergelder, that is, not the poet. I get a huge kick out of this bit of dialogue from Thorton Wilder's "The Matchmaker."

Walter Matthau (Vandergelder) and Michael Crawford (Cornelius) do a nice job with this banter in the movie "Hello, Dolly!" My favorite is "A man's not worth a cent until he's forty. We just pay 'em wages to make mistakes--"

Be sure to scroll down to read about Cornelius's promotion!
