Psalm 78
. . . we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done. .
so the next generation would know them . . . and they in turn would tell their children.
Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.

American Revolution Reenactment

Our Truth Treasure Hunter kids recently reenacted a Revolutionary War battle at a nearby nature park. To prepare for the battle, they made paper mache powder horns and guns as well as paper tricorn hats.

Incidentally, no one was keen on playing the part of the British regulars. I brought along some red shirts to slip on, to at least evoke the uniformed British army, and all kids were required to take a turn marching as the British army, with instructions to die with drama!

You can see why acting out the stealthy tactics of the Patriots--at least in the ambush style--was the favorite!
